Vijay Sawant

Vijay Sawant has an extensive work experience in the marine construction industry. Vijay started their career as a Site Engineer at Hindustan Construction Company in 2006, where they successfully completed piling works for an iconic project. Vijay then joined AFCONS Infrastructure Limited in 2008, taking on various roles including Execution Engineer of Marine Piling and Execution Engineer of Canal & RE wall at Nad al sheba Race course development project. At AFCONS, they gained experience in a range of construction activities such as load out facility construction, jack up operations, rock abutment construction, and marine nearshore piling. In 2012, Vijay joined BAM International bv as a Senior Engineer Marine, where they played a key role in developing engineering and technical support for design and construction projects. Vijay also performed vendor assessment and identified sub-contractors for construction activities. In 2020, they joined Overseas AST Co LLC as a Senior Marine Engineer, and in 2021, they moved to Archirodon Group N.V. as a Marine Construction Section Head.

Vijay Sawant began their education at Paranjape Vidyalaya in 1988, where they completed their SSC (Secondary School Certificate). Following that, they enrolled at govt. polytechnique thane from 1998 to 2003 and obtained a Diploma in Civil. Later, in 2009, they attended Nicmar and completed a Post graduate in project const. mgmt, specializing in Construction Management.
