Aoife McGee has a diverse work experience in the compliance and risk management field. Aoife is currently working as the Head of Compliance Ireland at Architas since June 2019. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Compliance and Risk at John Locke Investments from November 2017 to April 2019. Aoife also worked at the Central Bank of Ireland as a Senior Supervisor from March 2012 to October 2017. Earlier in their career, Aoife held the position of Senior Compliance Manager at KBI Global Investors from March 2004 to February 2012, and they began their career as an Investment Compliance Monitoring Officer at Pioneer Investments from May 2001 to March 2004.

Aoife McGee completed their BA in Applied Languages with a focus on French and Spanish at Dublin City University from 1994 to 1998. Aoife went on to pursue an International Master of Business Administration at Dublin City University from 1999 to 2001, where their studies included topics such as Finance, Economics, Accounting, Strategic Management, Law, Project Management, Human Resources, and Procurement. In 2004, they obtained a Diploma in Applied Finance Law from the Law Society of Ireland, specializing in Finance Law. That same year, they also received an Investment Management Certificate (IMC) from CFA UK (formerly awarded by UK Society of Investment Professionals), with a focus on Investments and Securities. From 2006 to 2008, Aoife completed a BA (Ord) Law at Technological University Dublin, where they studied various areas of law, including Company, Contract, Equity, Constitutional, EU, and Criminal law. Aoife then pursued a Professional Diploma in Compliance at the University College Dublin from 2009 to 2013, focusing on Compliance. Finally, in 2016 and 2017, they attended the Irish Management Institute, earning a Diploma in Regulatory Management with a specialization in Regulation.
