Aaron Altwies

Aaron Altwies, PMP, serves as the Chief Security Officer for the Architect of the Capitol, where leadership supports Capitol Hill's legislative and judicial branches with emphasis on security and building operations. As President of A&M Federal Consulting, LLC, Aaron specializes in assisting small businesses in accessing government contracts and gaining market share. Previous roles include Senior Vice President for Policy and Human Capital in the United States Air Force, responsible for a 140-person organization overseeing diverse engineering and security policies, and various leadership positions managing personnel and resources in emergency services, infrastructure, and military operations. Aaron's extensive military background, marked by significant roles in civil engineering at multiple Air Force installations, is complemented by a strong educational foundation including master's degrees from the United States Army War College and Marine Corps University.
