Humphrey Yap has a wealth of experience in the architectural and engineering industry. Humphrey started their career in 2004 at Hood-McNees Inc. as a Design Engineer. In 2006, they joined Benson Industries as an Engineer, where they worked on a variety of high-profile and architecturally-stunning building projects worldwide until 2013. Humphrey then moved to Architectural Glass & Aluminum, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Engineer from 2013 to 2017, Facade Senior Designer from 2017 to 2022, and currently serving as AGA Chief Design Engineer.
Humphrey Yap completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Portland. Humphrey then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) from Portland State University. Additionally, they also pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the same university. However, the start and end years for their M.S. degree are not provided.
