Travis Watson

Travis Watson has a diverse work history in the field of lighting design and project management. Travis is currently serving as the VP of Marketing Relations at Horton Controls Group since 2015. Prior to this, they held the positions of Vice President of Sales and Director of Technical Services at Architectural Lighting Alliance starting in 2011. Travis has also worked as a Lighting Designer at Tillotson Design Associates and zeroLUX lighting design, and as a Resident Designer at Second Thought Theatre. Travis has experience as a Junior Designer at U: Lighting and as a Project Manager at Stagelight Inc. Additionally, Travis has served as a Technical Director at Baylor University and as a Marching Member at Santa Clara Vanguard.

Travis Watson's education history begins at Machado Elementary School from 1987 to 1990, where they earned their "5 Gold Stars" degree in Shapes. Travis then attended Smithson Valley High School from 1995 to 1999 and obtained their high school diploma. Travis continued their education at Baylor University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Design. Lastly, they attended Parsons School of Design - The New School from 2006 to 2008, where they completed their Master of Fine Arts degree in Lighting Design.
