Debra Willey is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in educational institutions. Currently serving as Academy Manager and Human Resources Manager at Archway Learning Trust since February 2021, Debra collaborates with the Director of People Strategy on strategic HR projects related to school improvement within a cluster of Derby schools. Prior to this role, Debra held the position of Human Resources Manager at The Northworthy Multi Academy Trust, where support was provided to Senior Leaders for the organization's management and strategic direction. Debra's HR expertise was further developed as HR Manager at The Long Eaton School, overseeing various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, and policy implementation. Earlier career experience includes managerial positions at Ladbrokes, focusing on operational and customer service excellence. Debra is academically supported by various educational qualifications from Nottingham Business School and local schools.

Our growing family of academies are based in Nottingham, Derby and Derbyshire and includes children from their first day at nursery all the way through preparation for university and lifelong learning. The Trust is made up of both Church of England academies and schools of no designated religious character.
