Christoph Schauwecker

Christoph Schauwecker is a seasoned professional in wood science and technology with extensive experience in product development and innovation. Currently serving as the Director of Technology - Growth and Innovation at Arclin since December 2014, Christoph has played a pivotal role in establishing a dedicated team to enhance market leadership in overlay technology while managing multidisciplinary teams to create new product platforms. Prior to this, Christoph held several product development management roles within Arclin, focusing on OSB overlays, fostering strategic customer relationships, and implementing innovative development practices. With a solid research background as a Research Scientist at Viance LLC and Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University, Christoph's academic credentials include a Ph.D. and M.S. in Wood Science from Oregon State University, along with a B.S. in Wood Science with a Civil Engineering concentration from Michigan Technological University.
