Markus Schreyer

Markus Schreyer has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Markus started their career at Ford Motor Company as a Trainee Operations in 1984. From there, they moved on to Dunlop Tyres SA, where they worked as a Manager Operations. In 1990, they joined Thermo Electron as a Product Manager and eventually became the BU President and VP Sales. In 2006, Markus transitioned to Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they served as Vice President & General Manager for Brazil and South America. Markus later became the Vice President & General Manager/Geschäftsführer and focused on building customer relationships and creating value. In 2014, Markus became a Founding Partner at MGMS Consultancy & Corporate Participations S.A., assisting South American start-ups and mid-sized companies with international business management and investor strategies. Markus then took on the role of Director Búsqueda y Selección at ChileGlobal Angels, a network of investors. In 2017, they joined LatAm Startups as a Director on the Board of Directors. Markus is currently the Founder and CEO of The Ganesha Lab, a biotech scale-up with a mission to transform Latin American science into good business.

Markus Schreyer attended the Cologne University of Applied Sciences from 1982 to 1986, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Chemical Process Technology.
