Martin Simard

Martin Simard has a strong background in operations and management, with experience in various leadership roles. Martin is currently the Vice President of Kawneer North America (KNA) Operation for Arconic Building & Construction Systems. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Operation North America and Plant Site Manager at Arconic.

Before joining Arconic, Martin worked at Manitou Group as the Site Leader Executive, overseeing operations such as fabrication, welding, paint, assembly, warehouse management, and shipping. Martin was responsible for implementing Lean processes and driving cultural change at the facility.

Martin also had a significant tenure at BRP, where they held multiple positions with increasing responsibilities. Martin served as the Director of Manufacturing for the Composite Fabrication Center in Mexico and later as the Director of Manufacturing for Johnson & Evinrude Engines in the USA. Martin was also a Plant Manager at BRP's outboard engine facility and held the role of Director of Machine Maintenance/Facility in China, Mexico, and the USA. Throughout their time at BRP, Martin focused on strategic planning, implementing Lean Manufacturing concepts, and optimizing maintenance activities.

Martin Simard has a Bachelor of Science degree in Unified Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Quebec.
