Devon Birch

Devon Birch has a diverse range of work experience in various industries and roles. They began their career in 2008 as a Corporate Relations Assistant at the University of Victoria, where they coordinated marketing initiatives. From 2010 to 2013, Devon worked at the BC Children's Hospital Foundation in communication and event assistant roles. They then joined the TwentyTen Group as a Marketing and Event Coordinator for the XL Leadership Summit on a contract basis. In 2014, Devon worked as an Independent Consultant, managing projects related to project management, operations, and marketing. They also gained experience as an Event Coordinator on a contract basis at Arc'teryx Equipment, from 2014 to 2015. Devon then transitioned into various roles at Arc'teryx, including Talent Acquisition and Program Development Lead, Recruiter, Recruitment Experience Specialist, and Candidate Experience & Employer Brand Manager. Throughout their time at Arc'teryx, Devon contributed to various projects and initiatives such as creating a parental leave/top-up program, revamping the recruitment field days, and improving the recruitment process within the Applicant Tracking System. Currently, Devon holds the position of Manager, People Operations at Arc'teryx Equipment.

Devon Birch attended Oak Bay High School, although the specific start and end years are unknown. After completing high school, Devon enrolled at the University of Victoria in 2004. Continuing until 2009, Devon pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on entrepreneurship.
