Ron Borsholm

Ron Borsholm has a diverse work experience in the cybersecurity field. Ron is currently working as a Senior Manager in Cybersecurity at Arc'teryx Equipment since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at MNP Digital as a Senior Manager in Cyber Security Services in British Columbia from September 2021 to May 2022. From January 2017 to September 2021, they were a Senior Manager in Enterprise Risk Services at MNP in British Columbia. Before that, they worked as a Senior Security Consultant at Trustwave from November 2015 to January 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Security Consultant at NCI Secured Intelligence from April 2015 to November 2015, providing security consulting services and completing PCI security assessments and audits. Ron also gained experience at Bell as a Senior Consultant (Security) from December 2011 to April 2015 and at the BC Provincial Government as a Senior Project Manager and Technical Architect for the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Project from October 2008 to December 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked at CGI as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager from September 2006 to October 2008, overseeing various Ministry of Health projects. Ron started their career as a Consultant at Sierra Systems from July 1998 to March 2005.

Ron Borsholm obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Economics from the University of Victoria, where they studied from 1985 to 1990. Following that, they pursued a Diploma of Technology in Computer Systems from Camosun College, completing their studies between 1995 and 1998. In terms of additional certifications, Ron earned the CISA certification from ISACA in March 2017, the CISSP certification from (ISC)² in February 2016, and the Change Management for Projects certification from LinkedIn in January 2022. Ron also holds a retired PCI QSA certification from the PCI Security Standards Council. Ron is associated with the Project Management Institute but has not specified if they obtained the PMP certification.
