Melissa Losasso

Melissa Losasso, ARM, CPCU, is a seasoned risk management professional currently serving as Risk Manager, Insurance at Arctic Slope Regional Corporation since August 2021. In this role, Melissa leads the design and management of various insurance programs, develops industry relationships, and conducts risk assessments related to acquisitions and divestitures. Previously, Melissa held several key positions at Lumen Technologies, including Manager of Risk Management and Casualty Program Manager, where significant contributions included overseeing global insurance programs and implementing a risk program that achieved substantial cost savings. With a strong educational background, including a BBA in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Colorado State University, Melissa also has experience as a board member and treasurer for the San Diego Chapter of RIMS and has held roles in underwriting and risk analysis at AIG, Qwest Communications, and Sun Microsystems.
