T. Daniel Wallace

T. Daniel Wallace has a range of experience in the technology industry. T. Daniel is currently working as a Principal Software Developer at Arctic Wolf. Prior to this, they held various roles at Huawei Technologies, including Staff Architect and Senior Staff Engineer. At Huawei, they focused on watermark-based technologies and designed a general-purpose image watermarking solution. T. Daniel also developed kernel modules and system services for controlling file access between Android apps. Before Huawei, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Trustwave, where they specialized in backend Java development for security information and event management solutions. T. Daniel also had roles at Auvik Networks Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they worked on network management software, and at Western University as a Lecturer and Research Assistant. At Western University, they taught operating systems and real-time embedded control systems and conducted research on distributed signalling protocols for broadband grid computing networks.

T. Daniel Wallace holds a Ph.D. in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Western University, which was completed in 2012. Before that, they obtained a Master of Engineering Science degree in the same field from the same institution, which was completed in 2007. Wallace's Bachelor of Engineering degree in Software Engineering was obtained from Lakehead University in 2004. In 2012, they also obtained additional certifications in The Theory and Practice of University Teaching and the Western Certificate in University Teaching and Learning from Western University's Teaching Support Centre.
