Kulsum Neha Sarmadh has a diverse work experience in the field of research and pharmaceuticals. Starting in 2017, they worked as a Research Assistant at SSN College of Engineering, where they focused on synthesizing hydrogel and scaffolds for tissue engineering applications. Kulsum Neha presented their work at an international conference. Later in 2017, they completed an inplant training at Global Hospital, gaining hands-on experience with medical instruments and troubleshooting. In 2020, they joined Apicore pharma FZE as an Associate Lab Researcher, assisting in drug formulation and development of small molecules. Kulsum Neha also gained experience in process optimization. In 2021, they moved to Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions as a Scientist III, where they optimized bacterial vaccine formulations and worked with lipid-based nanoemulsion systems. Currently, in 2022, they are a Research Associate II at Arcturus Therapeutics.
Kulsum Neha Sarmadh pursued a Master of Science in Biomedical/Bio Engineering from Rutgers University, attending from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College Of Engineering, from 2014 to 2018.
