Morten Bach Sommer

As a principal engineer and architect, Morten Sommer leads the development of cloud-based video and IoT solutions. He is passionate about creating innovative integrated solutions for enterprise customers.

Morten was one of the original developers of the Milestone XProtect Corporate VMS and has more than 15 years of experience in the security industry. He joined Milestone Systems in Denmark in 2002 where he has held various engineering and management positions. In 2007 he joined a startup and headed up the development of a cloud-based service for sharing online publications. After returning to Milestone Systems in 2009 he has led several technology development and research initiatives and has been running technology adoption programs for partner engagement. In 2018 he relocated to Orange County, CA to join the Arcules team.
