Eugene Pan

Eugene (Yijun) Pan is a seasoned analytical scientist with extensive experience in managing analytical development and CMC responsibilities across several prominent organizations. Currently serving as Principal Scientist at Arcus Biosciences since October 2022, Eugene oversees CMO/CRO analytical management while providing essential support for drug product formulation and manufacturing. Prior positions include Director of Analytical Development at ESCAPE Bio, directing CMC analytics, and contributing to method development and regulatory support at Gilead Sciences as a Senior Scientist. Eugene's career spans roles at various companies, including lead scientist at AnaSpec and research investigator at Novartis, where a strong emphasis on analytical method development, validation, and compliance has been evident. Eugene holds a Ph.D. in Organic and Polymer Chemistry from Oklahoma State University and a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Hubei University.
