Joel Beatty

Joel Beatty is a highly experienced professional in the field of synthetic organic chemistry, serving as a Principal Investigator at Arcus Biosciences since July 2016, following roles as Senior Scientist and Scientist within the same company. Prior to this, Joel Beatty earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Michigan, where studies were conducted under the guidance of Professor Corey Stephenson. Additional academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Organic Chemistry from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Northeastern University. Earlier professional experience includes internship positions at GlaxoSmithKline and WR Grace.
