Katie Cude

Katie Cude, MS, RDN has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to 2022. Their most recent role is as an Area Business Director at Ardelyx, Inc., which they started in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Novartis as a PCP Sales Specialist in the Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism Division from November 2021 to November 2022.

From 2021 to 2021, they worked at Ardelyx, Inc. as a Clinical Sales Consultant, where they provided pre-FDA approval disease state education to healthcare providers and was responsible for target A-C HCPs and high decile dialysis centers. Katie demonstrated an ability to effectively communicate disease state education in both virtual and in-person settings.

Before that, from 2018 to 2021, Katie worked as a Renal Dietitian II at DaVita Kidney Care, where they provided nutritional assessments, counseling, and calculated prescription diets for patients with kidney disease. Katie collaborated extensively with the interdisciplinary care team to achieve desired outcomes for patients.

In 2017, Katie worked at Eisenhower Medical Center as a Clinical Dietitian, where they reviewed charts, assessed the nutrition status of patients in various settings, and actively participated in interdisciplinary patient rounds in the ICU. Katie also worked as a Clinical Dietitian at Morrison Healthcare during the same time period.

From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Registered Dietitian at Genesis, where they conducted comprehensive nutrition assessments, developed care plans, and consulted with residents and interdisciplinary teams as needed. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, they were a Registered Dietitian at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. and a Nutrition Therapist at Eat Freely Nutrition, both offering personalized nutrition services.

Katie began their career in 2013 as a Dietetic Intern at California State University, Long Beach. Overall, they have gained extensive experience in clinical dietetics, renal nutrition, disease state education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Katie Cude, MS, RDN has a Master's of Science degree in Nutrition Sciences from California State University-Long Beach, obtained between 2012 and 2014. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Dietetics and Food Administration from California State University, Long Beach, between 2006 and 2012. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in September 2014.
