Sharon Funk

Sharon Funk has over 18 years of work experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical industry. Sharon is currently the VP of Marketing at Ardelyx, Inc. since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Keryx Biopharmaceuticals, where they held the positions of Senior Director of Marketing from 2018 to 2019, Director of Marketing from 2016 to 2018, and Renal Sales Specialist from 2014 to 2016. Sharon also worked at BioTrends Research Group as the VP of Market Research Services / VP Client Development from 2008 to 2011. Sharon began their career at Sanofi Genzyme as a Sr Product Manager in Hospital Sales from 2001 to 2007.

Sharon Funk obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from Tulane University between the years 1992 and 1996. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Sociology from the same institution, which they completed between 1996 and 1998.
