Mark E. Burns, CISSP, PMP

Mark E. Burns, CISSP, PMP has over 30 years of experience in Information Technology and Consulting. Mark E. began their career in 1989 with Electronic Data Systems as a Program Manager, Delivery Manager, Consulting Manager, Product Line Manager, and Account Manager. In 2008, they became the Director Information Technology at Alstom Power, where they were responsible for implementing the entire IT infrastructure and applications for a new $350M manufacturing and engineering startup operation. In 2014, they joined H&D as a Program Delivery Manager (Client Delivery Executive). In 2013, they founded Ardendus Solutions, where they provide Information Technology consulting and services focused on ultra high-performance Wi-Fi networks, high-speed internet service for underserved entities using wireless backhaul links, and open-source cyber security solutions.

Mark E. Burns holds a Bachelor's degree from Kettering University, where they studied Co-operative education with experience in all business, manufacturing, and engineering functions. In November 2015, they obtained certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², and in March 2018, they obtained certification as a PMP from the Project Management Institute.
