Anna Komarova Caia

Anna Komarova, CAIA has a diverse work experience. Anna started their career at BioVeda China Fund as a Private Equity Intern in 2015. Anna then worked as a Research Analyst at Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce - FRCC from March 2015 to November 2015. In 2016, they served as an Investment Services Analyst at Colliers International and also became a Guest Lecturer at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, where they gave a lecture on various economic topics. Anna was also involved with CFA UK as an Analyst for the CFA Research Challenge and BNP Paribas for their Women in Capital Markets event. In 2016, they became the Co-President of Cass M&A Society. In 2017, Anna joined Acuris as a High Yield Bond Analyst and also worked as a member of the eGroup Committee at Worshipful Company of International Bankers. Currently, they are working at Ardian, starting as a Fund of Funds Intern in 2017 and progressing to the roles of Analyst, Investment Manager, and now Senior Investment Manager.

Anna Komarova, CAIA, has a diverse education history. In 2001, they completed their high school education with a major in mathematics and physics at State School #639 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Anna pursued further education and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from the Higher School of Economics from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management for Global Business from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, in 2014, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Management from the University of Greenwich.

Anna pursued a Master's Degree in Investment Management from Cass Business School, which they completed from 2016 to 2017. Anna then attended Harvard Business School in 2018 for executive education in Negotiation Mastery.

In terms of certifications, Anna obtained the CAIA Level I certificate in 2017 and achieved the prestigious CAIA Charterholder status in the same year. Anna also completed the Oxford Women's Leadership Development Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2020. Furthermore, they obtained the WSET Level 1 certification from the WSET-Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2019.
