Kurt Stürken

Kurt Stürken has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Kurt'smost recent role was as a Full Time Operating Partner at Ardian, starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Founder and Managing Partner of RE2E GmbH, where they worked closely with Ardian as an Operating Partner. Kurt founded and managed Vindstyrka AB, focusing on renewable investments. Kurt also held a Managing Director position at ROBUR Renewable Management Engineering GmbH from April 2020 to October 2021.

Before these roles, they were the Chief Operating Officer at PNE WIND AG from September 2016 to September 2019. Kurt Stürken also worked as a Managing Director at K2 Management GmbH and Senvion, where they held various leadership positions. At Senvion, they were the Managing Director of REpower Northern Europe A/S and REpower Systems Scandinavia AB. Kurt also served as the Senior Vice President for Global Projects/Operations and Sales and Projects Europe.

Earlier in their career, Kurt worked as an Investment Director at Platina Partners LLP and held multiple roles at Enercon GmbH, including Head of Global Projects and Managing Director of Enercon Energy Converter AB, Sweden. Kurt also worked as a Sales and Project Manager for Eurwind AB - Enercon Agent in Nordic Countries. At the start of their career, Kurt held the position of Assistant to the Managing Director at Schley Armaturen GmbH.

Kurt Stürken pursued their education at Pangbourne College from 1977 to 1982. During this time, they completed their Secondary School and Sixth Form studies in England, obtaining A-Levels. Following this, from 1983 to 1989, they attended Leibniz Universität Hannover. Kurt successfully completed their studies in Mechanical Engineering, earning a degree equivalent to a Master's Degree.
