Matthias Hübener has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Matthias began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto in 2012, where they worked in the Memory and Perception Lab under the supervision of Prof. Morgan Barense. In 2013, Matthias interned at Kienbaum, a company specializing in HR Strategy and Organization.

Matthias then gained further experience in strategy and business consulting through internships at Capgemini Consulting and Deloitte in 2014. In 2015, Matthias interned at KfW, where they supported the macroeconomic country analysis team in conducting in-depth research for internal country rating.

Matthias joined the European Investment Bank as a Trainee in Infrastructure and Utilities, Lending Operations in Western Europe in 2016. Matthias worked on various projects and gained valuable experience in the banking sector.

Since 2017, Matthias has been working at Ardian, an independent private investment company with significant assets under management. Matthias started as an Analyst, where they were responsible for conducting thorough analysis using primary and secondary sources. Matthias was then promoted to Investment Manager in 2020 and later became a Senior Investment Manager in 2022.

Throughout their career, Matthias has consistently demonstrated their analytical skills, business acumen, and adaptability to different environments.

Matthias Hübener's education history begins in 2010 when they enrolled in the University of Mannheim to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Computer Science. Matthias continued their studies in the same field and institution until 2013. In 2012, Matthias also participated in the Ontario-Baden-Württemberg Exchange Program at the University of Toronto, where they had the opportunity to delve into psychology and computer science. From 2014 to 2016, Matthias pursued a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General at HEC Paris.
