Serafeim Sakellis

Serafeim Sakellis has work experience in various roles and organizations. Serafeim started their career as a Handler at ERETA PLUS Flight Support Center in 2014 and later worked as a Policy Adviser at Euro Atlantic Diplomacy Society (EADSociety) from October 2014 to January 2015. Serafeim also served as a Researcher and Junior Consultant at University of Macedonia and Bel respectively.

In 2015, Serafeim joined Aegean Institute of the Law of the Sea and Maritime Law as a Research and Administrative Assistant. Serafeim also spent time in the Hellenic Army as an Acting Staff Sergeant.

Serafeim then interned at Kroll as a Business Intelligence and Investigations Intern in 2017 before joining Ardian, where they held roles such as Private Equity Risk Intern, Private Equity Risk Analyst, Private Equity Risk Officer, and currently works as a Private Equity Senior Risk Officer.

Serafeim Sakellis completed their education at Sciences Po from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Master's degree in International Security with a concentration in Project Management & Middle East. Their field of study during this time was International Relations and Affairs. Prior to their time at Sciences Po, they attended the University of Macedonia from 2011 to 2015. Serafeim obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) during this period, with a field of study that included International & European Studies, Political Studies, and Diplomacy.

In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications. In 2021, they received the Power BI Foundations certification from Daxel. In 2020, they obtained the Certification AMF from the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) in France. In 2019, they completed the Introduction to Private Equity and Fund Management certification from PwC Luxembourg.
