Swenson Chen

Swenson Chen is currently the Deputy Chartering Manager at Ardmore Shipping. Prior to this, they worked as the Chartering Manager at Ocean Tankers Pte Ltd from October 2017 to July 2020. There, they were responsible for optimizing freights on CPP MRs. From April 2015 to October 2017, Swenson worked as a shipbroker specializing in spot chartering for dirty petroleum products at Howe Robinson Partners Pte Ltd. Swenson then worked as a shipbroker for crude/fuel oil tankers at ICAP from June 2014 to April 2015 before being selected for the company's Graduate Programme. In 2012, they interned at Ernst & Young where they researched and prepared reports on Islamic Banking insights and was involved in the Private Banking system project for a huge bank with regards to Triple A system and back to front system. Swenson also designed the standards for behavioral finance for risk profiling in Private Banking.

Swenson Chen has a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Singapore Management University. Swenson is certified from ICE Education in Carbon Emissions Market and Trading Programme.
