Michael Shiloh is an accomplished educator and engineer with extensive experience in interactive media, electronics, and physical computing. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Practice at New York University Abu Dhabi and an Associate Professor at California College of the Arts, Michael specializes in teaching electronics, Arduino, programming, and mechatronics. Additionally, Michael provides Arduino training for a variety of audiences and holds the position of Tinkerer in Residence at the Exploratorium. As a co-founder and instructor at Teach Me To Make, Michael conducts workshops to foster creativity and understanding in electronics and technology. With a long-standing engineering role at Survival Research Laboratories and participation in free and open source software projects, Michael actively contributes to the fields of public speaking and education at numerous events. Michael holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and has taught at institutions including Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation and San Francisco Art Institute.
