Brian Clarkson

Brian Clarkson, PLS, serves as the Geospatial Services Manager at Ardurra, a position held since June 2014, overseeing GIS and Remote Sensing projects across the Rocky Mountain Region, including various airport-related surveys. Previously, Brian was the GIS Project Manager at GDA Engineers (now T-O Engineers) and worked as a Senior Engineer Assistant for the Town of Grand Island, NY, where responsibilities included overseeing field measurements for municipal projects. As an Independent Contractor, Brian completed a GIS Needs Assessment for the Long Island Sound Study and contributed to post-Hurricane Sandy damage assessments as a Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo. Brian's early career included roles as a Survey Crew Chief at Deborah A. Naybor PLS, P.C. and Freeman and Freeman Surveying, focusing on boundary, topographic surveys, and training new employees. Academic qualifications include a Cadastral Surveying Certificate from the University of Wyoming, a Master of Science in Geography from the University at Buffalo, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the same institution.
