Mary Layne Katsarelas

Mary Layne Katsarelas has extensive experience in advocacy and management within the field of long-term care, currently serving as the Long Term Care Ombudsman for Oakland County at Area Agency on Aging 1-B since October 2020. Previous roles include a similar position at Lakeshore Legal Aid from 2012 to 2020, where problem resolution strategies were implemented for residents in care facilities. Mary also worked as a Care Manager for the MI Choice Waiver Program and held advocacy positions at Citizens for Better Care and Area Agency on Aging 1-B, focusing on resident rights and quality of care.
