Kris Azarm

Kris Azarm, PhD, currently serves as Senior Medical Director at AREA 23 on Hudson, having joined in September 2024. Prior to this role, Kris held various positions at Health Science Communications from October 2020 to September 2024, including Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, Assistant Medical Director, and Medical Associate. A brief freelance engagement as a Medical Writer occurred at BGB Group in September 2020. Kris completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where coursework and research spanned from August 2014 to May 2020. Earlier academic experiences include an undergraduate research role at The University of Texas at Austin from June 2012 to June 2014, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology.
