Bernd Hoogkamp has a strong background in product management, sales, and business development in the telecommunications industry. Bernd began their career at COLT Telecom as a Key Account Manager, where they focused on sales to key wholesale accounts and secured the first-ever Mobile Voice Interconnect for the company in the Netherlands. Hoogkamp then moved on to Orange, where they served as an Interconnect Account Manager and successfully created a new revenue stream, negotiating and closing contracts with major European telecom operators. Bernd later joined TeliaSonera International Carrier, where they held various roles, including Mobile & Carrier Relations Manager, Head of Mobile Community, and Director of Mobile Sales & New Business. In these positions, they focused on developing wholesale mobile product portfolios, building marketing strategies, and representing the company in industry working groups. Most recently, Hoogkamp worked at Arelion as the Head of Product Management, where they managed a team and was responsible for the in-life management, product and business development, and transformation of all Carrier products and IT solutions. Bernd also oversaw the support, maintenance, and development of Arelion's main BSS system, Salesforce.com. Throughout their career, Hoogkamp has achieved significant accomplishments, including successfully launching new products, simplifying customer-facing documentation, and generating multi-million Euro revenues.

Bernd Hoogkamp obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Languages from HAN University of Applied Sciences between the years 1993 and 1998.
