Jose Ortiz de Lanzagorta

Jose Ortiz de Lanzagorta is a Principal Data Scientist at Arenko since May 2020, following a period of full-time consulting for the company beginning in July 2018. Prior to joining Arenko, Jose served as a Senior Engineer at Evergreen Innovations from January 2018 to May 2020, where collaboration with clean-tech startups involved tailored cloud computing and machine learning solutions. Jose also worked as a Business Development Manager at Elutions from July 2016 to December 2017, focusing on operational optimization and energy savings for industrial clients through data analytics. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Project Assistant at Technische Universität München, contributing to the design of a biomass gasifier. Academically, Jose holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Energy Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, with additional studies as an exchange student at the Technical University of Munich.
