Ryan Feather

Ryan Feather has a strong background in data science and has held various roles in the field. Ryan is currently the Director of Data Science at GridX, Inc., a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, Ryan served as a Machine Learning Engineering Manager at Shopify from April 2022 to May 2023. In this role, they led a team of data scientists and built ad targeting algorithms for digital campaigns. Before their time at Shopify, Ryan was the Data Science Manager at Uplight from July 2019 to April 2022, where they led and grew teams, developed core data processing platforms, and improved machine learning models. From 2013 to 2019, Ryan held various roles at FirstFuel Software, including Data Science Manager, Manager of Data Analytics and Engineering, Data Scientist, and Software Engineer Data Analytics. Ryan was also a Software Engineer at Atmospheric and Environmental Research from November 2011 to June 2013, and a Research Assistant at The Ohio State University, Computer Vision Lab from January 2011 to September 2011. Throughout their career, Ryan has demonstrated expertise in data science, machine learning, and software engineering.

Ryan Feather has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, which they obtained from West Virginia University Institute of Technology. Ryan attended the university from 2004 to 2008. Following their undergraduate education, Ryan pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University. Ryan completed their master's program from 2009 to 2011.
