John Baker

John Baker has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily in the field of operations, test management, and program logistics. John has held managerial positions at ARES Corporation, Millennium Engineering and Integration, SAIC, and SRS Technologies/ManTech. At ARES Corporation, they led and managed a team of over 45 contractor employees in various technical areas related to the Exploration Ground Systems Program Office. Similarly, at Millennium Engineering and Integration, they managed a team of contractor employees and was responsible for staffing requirements and program logistics. John also served as the Senior Project Manager for the Ground Systems Development and Operations Program's Spacecraft Offline Processing Element's (SOPE) KLXS II project at Millennium Engineering and Integration. Prior to these roles, John worked at SAIC as a Senior Project Manager and System Engineering Analyst for the SOPE KLXS project. John also served as a Senior Safety and Mission Assurance Analyst, supporting Space Florida with range safety analysis and environmental compliance. John's earlier experience includes working as a Safety and Mission Assurance Analyst at SRS Technologies/ManTech, where they supported Space Florida with range safety analysis and compliance. John started their career in the United States Air Force as a Launch Group Superintendent and later as an Operations Group Superintendent. John Baker attended the Community College of the Air Force from 1980 to 1989, where they pursued a degree in Electronic Systems Technology and earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. In 1998, they enrolled at Warner University and completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Organizational Management in 1999. Later, from 2003 to 2010, John went on to study at Webster University, obtaining a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Management and Leadership.
