Randal Grochowski has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Randal began their career in 1984 as a Researcher at The University of Michigan, Institute for Social Research, where they provided analysis for a study on U.S. corporate disability and pension plans. From 1985 to 1986, Grochowski worked as a Graduate Fellow at The George Washington University, conducting research on the historical, social, and political impact of social programs such as Social Security and Medicaid.
In 1986, Grochowski joined Techplan Corp as an Analyst, where they provided on-site management support to the international program offices of the Department of the Air Force, OSD, and the Department of the Navy. Randal oversaw the system, programmatic, and financial aspects of multi-million dollar Department of Defense international programs, including NATO AGARD and the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics.
From 1992 to 1996, Grochowski worked as a Project Manager/Senior Analyst at BK Dynamics/Dyncorp, managing a consulting effort for the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO). Randal provided programmatic analysis of international involvement for Joint advanced technology weapons programs and played a key role in European and NATO theater missile defense architecture studies.
At Dynmeridian from 1996 to 1998, Grochowski served as a Senior Analyst and supported various arms control programs for the International Policy and Analysis Division of the Department of Energy. Their responsibilities included research, analytical support, and drafting policy and technical analyses related to nonproliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
From 1998 to 2007, Grochowski worked as a Principal Analyst at SRS Technologies, leading the compliance effort for the Missile Defense Agency's ABM/START/INF treaty for the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense program. Randal was responsible for verifying test and evaluation efforts for treaty compliance and collaborating with various element-level programs.
In 2007, Grochowski founded Labyrinth Analysis, LLC/Instantiation LLC/AI Solutions, a management consulting firm. Randal served as the Owner/Principal Analyst and led a team at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Quality, Safety and Mission Assurance (QS) office. Their key responsibilities included ensuring programmatic integrity and mission assurance for the Ballistic Missile Defense System program.
From 2012 to 2020, Grochowski worked at a.i. solutions as a Senior Analyst, where they provided technical analysis and support. Randal then joined APT (A-P-T Research, Inc.) in 2020 as an Advanced Technical Analyst. Currently, Grochowski serves as a Senior Technical Analyst at ARES Corporation, where they continue to apply their expertise in technical analysis.
Randal Grochowski pursued their undergraduate education from 1979 to 1983 at the University of Michigan, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Economics. Following that, from 1983 to 1985, they attended The George Washington University, where they completed their Master of Arts degree in History/Public Policy.
