Elisa Kim

Elisa Kim serves as Vice President and Counsel at Ares Management Corporation since January 2023, following a progressive legal career in investment funds. At DLA Piper, Elisa worked as a Corporate Associate in the Investment Funds Group from March 2018 to September 2022, advising institutional and high net worth investors on various alternative investment strategies. During a secondment at SVB Financial Group, Elisa coordinated fundraising efforts and governance matters for SVB Capital. Prior to this, Elisa gained experience at Jackson Walker LLP and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in legal and compliance roles. Earlier in the career, Elisa provided legal consulting services in the Middle East and interned at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Educational credentials include a J.D. from Drexel University and a BA from Swarthmore College, along with a Certificate in Business and Finance from Columbia University.
