Jason Cohen

Jason Cohen is a seasoned professional in the finance and legal sectors, currently serving as the Partner and Chief Operating Officer for Alternative Credit at Ares Management Corporation. Previously, Jason held the position of General Counsel and Managing Director at Anchorage Capital Group, L.L.C., and served as Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel for Credit Funds at Fortress Investment Group. Jason began a career in finance at BlackRock as Vice President and gained legal experience as an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Jason holds a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from Binghamton University.
