Zahir Z Khan

Zahir Z Khan is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and business development. Currently serving as Partner and Head of Middle East & Africa at Ares Management Corporation since May 2016, Zahir oversees the Ares Middle East Team while managing regional relationships across the Middle East and Africa. Prior roles at Ares include managing director and principal, focusing on investor coverage for various alternative assets. Notable previous experience includes work in Credit Suisse's Private Fund Group, raising capital for global private equity and alternative investments, as well as positions at Hamilton Lane and J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Zahir holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia and an International Baccalaureate from the United World College of the Atlantic.
