J. R. Wetzel

J. R. Wetzel is a seasoned real estate investment professional with over 25 years of experience. As a Senior Managing Director and Co-Chief Investment Officer at Black Creek Group since March 2011, Wetzel leads the Western Region, contributing to the firm's reputation for integrating rigorous due diligence in its investment strategies. Prior to this, Wetzel was the Managing Partner at PGP Partners Inc from 2000 to March 2011 and served as Chief Operating Officer at Pacific Gulf Properties Inc, a publicly traded REIT, from 1997 to 2000. Wetzel holds an MBA in Business and Real Estate Finance from USC Marshall School of Business and a degree from Claremont McKenna College.
