Jon Bjarnason

Jon Bjarnason is an R&D Manager at Arete Biosciences. Prior to this, Jon held positions with Quidel Inc. as an Associate Director of System Integration, Leica Biosystems in the Imaging Systems department, and Autogenomics, Inc. as a Senior Electrical Engineer. Jon's expertise lies in design and development, hardware, software, fluorescence imaging systems, and thermocycling units. With a background in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Jon's experience also includes engineering research at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where Jon worked on various projects related to concealed weapons, gas spectroscopy, and high power THz beam generation.
