Paul Bailey

Paul Bailey is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in emergency medicine and medical coordination. Currently serving as the Medical Director at West Coast Aeromedical and the Medical Coordinator for the Western Australian Country Health Service, Paul has a notable background in facilitating interfacility patient transfers. In addition to these roles, Paul holds several non-executive positions, including at SensesWA and Occuhealth, and provides 24/7 medical retrieval consultancy for CareFlight. With significant previous experience as the Medical Director for St John Ambulance (WA) and Director of Emergency Medicine at St John of God Hospital Murdoch, Paul also contributed to the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care. An accomplished academic, Paul earned a PhD in Biochemistry and Venomology from The University of Western Australia, as well as degrees in Medicine and a Fellowship from the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine.
