Jan de Vliegher

Jan De Vliegher has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to information security, risk management, and IT service management. Jan is currently working at Argenta as the Lead IT Security Officer, where their focus is on strengthening information security and facing cyber challenges. Prior to that, they worked at ING as the Product Area Lead for Fraud Detection. Jan also has experience as a Service Manager for websites at Team Prosource, and as an IT Service Management Consultant at Tallic. Jan has worked in client service management and project management at Cybertrust - Ubizen, and also has experience in pre-sales engineering and sales engineering. Jan De Vliegher started their career at Lernout & Hauspie as a sales engineer.

Jan De Vliegher has a diverse education history. In 2021, they pursued a field of study in Cyber at Antwerp Management School. In 2009 and 2010, they attended Vlerick Business School, where they completed an executive masterclass in business process management. In 2001 and 2002, they obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Management from KU Leuven. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1999, Jan studied electromechanical engineering, earning a Master's degree from KaHo Sint Lieven. Their education journey began at Sint Lodewijkscollege Lokeren, where they completed a degree in Latin sciences.
