Cynthia Bade, MBA, currently serves as the Vice President of Development at Argentum, where fundraising efforts focus on public policy initiatives to improve the quality of life for older adults in the U.S. Previously, Cynthia held the position of Senior Major Gifts Officer/Director of Development at VCU Massey Cancer Center, successfully raising $8 million for cancer research in a little over three years. From 2011 to 2019, Cynthia worked at the American Heart Association in various leadership roles, including Vice President of Development, where management of fundraising teams resulted in significant contributions towards cardiovascular disease and stroke initiatives. Earlier career experiences include roles in marketing and development at Reach for Resources, Inc., and freelance consulting at Carlson Bade Associates, along with an administrative position at Northern Arizona University. Cynthia holds an MBA in Services Marketing & Management from W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a BA in Russian from the University of Arizona.
