Albert J. Kovera has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Albert J. began their career as an Associate Director of Marketing at Amylin Pharmaceuticals in 2003. Albert J. then worked as an SVP of Group Account Services at Discovery Chicago, a healthcare communications agency within the Publicis Groupe, from 2007 to 2010. From 2011 to 2013, they served as the EVP and Managing Director of Medicus International, where they were responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and scientific communications. After their time at Medicus International, they worked independently as an Executive Consultant in the life sciences sector, providing counsel on business acquisitions, strategic alliances, and global public policy campaigns. In 2017, they joined Huntsworth Health as EVP of Strategic Development before transitioning to Argenx in 2018. At Argenx, Albert served in various roles, including Vice President of Global Marketing and Commercial New Product Planning, where they contributed to clinical development planning and market analysis. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Global Commercial Planning and Readiness at Argenx, where they are responsible for building and operationalizing integrated commercial operations capabilities globally.

Albert J. Kovera obtained a B.S. in Economics from Purdue University between 1990 and 1993. Albert J. then pursued an Ed.D. in Applied Physiology at Columbia University from 1996 to 2002.
