Long Phan

Long Phan has worked in the IT field since 2006. In 2010, they began working as a Technical Support for the Portland State University Computer Action Team. In 2012, they joined Forix as a Software Quality Assurance. In 2013, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at Portland State University, researching relationships between browser cookies and advertisement profiles. In 2015, they joined Zap Technology Solutions, LLC as a Business Technology Analyst, solving various technical problems with virtual machines and PHP web-applications. In 2016, they became a Software Engineer & Administrator at Seasonal Fundamental, developing a Business Intelligence tool. In 2017, they joined Argil DX as an Assistant Director, working on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Campaign related technologies and general information technology infrastructure. Long improved workplace flexibility by redesigning and implementing secure internal network infrastructure, and increased service reliability by introducing and implementing private cloud, and automation tools.

Long Phan has a diverse educational background. Long obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Natural Science in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam from 2007 to 2009. Long then went on to Portland State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from 2010 to 2012, a Master of Science in Computer Science and Cyber Security from 2014 to 2015, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and High Performance Computing, which they expect to complete in 2027. Additionally, Long Phan has obtained several certifications from Adobe, including Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager Dev/Ops Engineer, Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager Forms Developer, Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager Sites Business Practitioner, Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager Sites Developer, and Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Campaign Developer.
