Jarod Kelly

Jarod Kelly is a Principal Energy Systems Analyst and Vehicle Systems Analyst Engineer at Argonne National Laboratory, where responsibilities include managing and conducting primary research for the GREET model and performing life cycle analysis related to vehicle production and advanced material technologies. Previously, Jarod served as an Assistant Research Scientist at the University of Michigan, focusing on the impacts of renewable energy sources on air pollution from a life cycle assessment perspective and modeling the electrical grid for environmental evaluations. As a Research Fellow, Jarod contributed to CO2 reduction studies through energy policy changes. Jarod's academic credentials include a PhD and MSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
