Melissa Botero

Melissa Botero serves as Directora Planeación Operaciones Futuras and previously held the title of Supply Chain BI Sr. Manager at Cementos Argos since April 2012. In these roles, Melissa has been responsible for guiding the design of the company's medium- and long-term master plan, evaluating investment alternatives and capacity expansion across Colombia, the Caribbean, Central America, and the United States. As Líder Excelencia Logistica, Melissa led the transformation of the supply chain by implementing best practices and enhancing logistical operations. Earlier positions included Supply Chain Planner in both operational and tactical planning, where Melissa designed production and distribution plans and long-term supply chain processes. Prior experience includes a logistics internship at Procter & Gamble. Melissa holds a Master of Engineering in Supply Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia.
