Greg Hurst

Greg Hurst has extensive experience in risk management and insurance. Greg is currently working as the Corporate Director of Risk Management & Insurance at Summit Materials since January 2024. Prior to this, they held various roles at Argos USA, including Director of Risk Management & Insurance, Sr. Manager of Risk Management, Risk Manager, and Claims Manager. Greg has also worked as a Claims Advocate at Artex Risk Solutions and as a Senior Claims Adjuster at Marriott Claims Services. Throughout their career, Greg has demonstrated expertise in managing all aspects of risk management, overseeing enterprise risk management programs, and managing insurance and claim programs. Greg has a strong focus on high exposure business segments and implementing effective loss control and mitigation efforts.

Greg Hurst, J.M., ARM, AIC completed a Juris Master - American Law degree at Liberty University from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate in Claims Management certification from the Insurance Institute of America in 2014. In 2010, they also acquired an Associate in Risk Management certification from the same institution. Furthermore, they obtained an Associate in Claims certification in 2009. Greg'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Risk Management and Insurance from The University of Georgia, which they completed from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, they hold certifications as an Associate in Risk Management and an Associate of Claims from the Insurance Institute of America.
