John Darmody II, J.D.

John Darmody II, J.D. has a diverse work experience across various industries. John started their career in 2010 at Argosy Cruises, where they worked as a Guest Services staff for one year. Later, in 2013, they joined Running Wild Davenport as a Sales Associate for six months. In 2014, they worked as an Intern at Johnson County Circuit Court for two months. John then transitioned into the legal field and joined The Rowe Law Firm, LLC as a Law Clerk for one month in 2016. Subsequently, they became an Associate Attorney at The Rowe Law Firm in September 2016, where they stayed until January 2017. During their time at New Balance Seattle from 2017 to 2019, they served as a Sales Associate. John returned to Argosy Cruises in 2019 and worked as a Senior Deckhand until 2020. From October 2020 to June 2021, they worked as a Customer Service Specialist at REI. Currently, they hold the position of Shift Lead at Argosy Cruises starting from August 2021. Overall, John Darmody II, J.D. has gained valuable experience in customer service, sales, legal, and leadership roles throughout their career.

John Darmody II, J.D. pursued their higher education with dedication and determination. John completed their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree at Indiana University Bloomington from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from St. Ambrose University between 2008 and 2013. Before attending college, John completed their high school education at O'Dea High School.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, John also holds a certification as a Master 100 ton vessels inland from the U.S. Coast Guard, which they obtained in July 2022.
