Garrett Wright

Garrett Wright is an experienced professional in the field of public affairs and security studies, currently serving as an Analytics Associate at the Applied Research Institute since June 2023. Previously, Garrett gained valuable experience as a Teaching Intern at Indiana University, focusing on the Politics of the UN. Garrett's involvement with the American Enterprise Institute spanned multiple roles, including serving on the Executive Council and as a Research Intern for the Critical Threats Project, where work focused on West African security issues. Long-standing leadership roles include presidency at the Briscoe Center and mentorship in the Civic Leaders Center. With a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University and enrollment in the Master of Arts in Security Studies program at Georgetown University, Garrett combines academic prowess with practical experience in advocacy and research within the public policy sphere.
