Rafael Segura Garcia

Rafael Segura Garcia has a diverse work experience in the field of digital marketing and strategy. Rafael currently serves as the Ariadna Performance Sales Director at Ariadna Communications Group since July 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as the Media Performance Director at the same company from December 2020 to June 2021.

Rafael has also worked as a freelance consultant since 2015, specializing in digital strategy development, web positioning (SEO/SEM), and e-commerce.

Furthermore, Rafael has held positions at TXT Agencia Transmedia S.A., where they served as the Digital Director from June 2017 to December 2020, and as the Digital Planner Senior from September 2016 to June 2017.

Before joining TXT Agencia Transmedia S.A., they worked as a Digital Estrategist de Performance at BlackSip from January 2016 to August 2016, focusing on digital marketing strategies for e-commerce platforms. Rafael also worked as a Digital Estrategist for Grupo Nutresa and its brands in November to December 2015.

Prior to their roles in digital marketing, Rafael worked as a Front-End Developer at Estrategia Virtual from June 2013 to July 2015, specializing in CMS platforms such as Joomla, WordPress, and PrestaShop. Rafael also implemented performance-based advertising campaigns on self-managed media.

Earlier in their career, Rafael worked as an Assistant Producer at ZIEL S.A.S. from November 2011 to 2012, and as a Photography Advertising Monitor at Universidad Central (Colombia) from January to May 2010.

Rafael Segura Garcia obtained a degree in Mercadeo estratégico with a field of study in Estudios de mercado from CESA between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they attended Universidad Central (CO) from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained a degree in Publicista with a field of study in Creativo y estratega. Before attending Universidad Central, Rafael briefly studied Computer Software Engineering at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas from 2005 to 2007.

In addition to their academic background, Rafael Segura Garcia has obtained several certifications. Rafael became a Licenced Scrum Master and a Licenced Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Inc. in March 2020. Furthermore, they obtained a Google AdWords certification from Google in June 2015.
